Olivia is
an emerging photographer who is constantly drawn to composition, form, angles, lighting, subject matter - practically all
things related to images and how they convey messages.
A
lifelong South Floridian and a graduate of the University of Miami with double majors in Motion Pictures and History, Olivia
has invested much into the community and has seen its growth. During her undergraduate years she worked for the University’s
Motion Picture and Video Film office and the Bill Cosford Cinema while also working on student and low-budget films and videos.
She has produced, directed, shot, edited and crewed a number of them.
Olivia’s
most recent endeavors are in photography and locations. Since June 2005, she has been employed at a South Florida locations
agency which specializes in representing private homes to be used in shoots. The majority of shoots are major fashion still
photography advertising campaigns and editorial jobs. When not in the office or at a shoot, Olivia is photographing new locations
or taking pictures on her free time. This allows her to hone her photography skills and explore new areas, both literally
and figuratively.
Olivia
finds her work is infused with touches of community, history, culture and whimsical humor. Her roots are in Miami, but her
journeys have also led her to various parts of the world. These travels, as well as her unique family heritage, have made
a lasting impact on who she is, which in turn influence her work. She seeks to contribute to the film and photography world
by creating meaningful and aesthetically pleasing images.
